Evolutionary microbiology deals with the alterations in genetic material of microorganisms according to the changes in their environment or because of selection pressure. This plays a very important role in development of resistance mechanisms in bacteria against antibiotics. The study of microbial evolution is required for manufacturing of target-associated drugs and antibiotics to control bacterial infections. Clinical Microbiology welcomes microbiologists and scientists from around the world to reveal the importance of evolution in existence of microorganisms.

It involves the study of genetic material of microorganisms which plays a pivotal role in their growth, replication and infection. Transfer of genetic material from one microorganism to another cause development of highly resistant infectious agents. Microbiology Event invites you to share your knowledge about microbial genetics.

Infectious diseases are caused by microscopic microorganisms that can be transmitted from one person to another. This causes havoc in the environment leading to increase in mortality rate. Epidemiology is the study of the distribution and determinants of health-related states, and the application of this study for the control of diseases and other health problems. Clinical Microbiology is providing a platform for people studying various methods used for carrying out epidemiological investigations like surveillance and descriptive studies can be used to study distribution while analytical studies are used to study determinants.

Antimicrobial peptides are short stretch of amino acids, involved in innate immune response of all classes of life. Their antimicrobial property can be utilized in production of advanced antibiotics. Researchers have gained their interest in these short peptides for the development of potent drugs. Microbiology Summit welcomes you to present your work on antimicrobial peptides.

Interaction between host and pathogen involves how the pathogen survives, grows and cause infection inside the host. There are multiple mechanisms followed by different pathogens that lead to development of symptoms of a disease. Clinical Microbiology  is offering a platform to the researchers that study host-pathogen interaction.
